Wildfire is a growing problem in the United States. Consequently, there are many stakeholders invested in improving the state of the art of wildfire management. This portal is designed to bring those broad and diverse stakeholders together and collect research and technology concepts related to the various phases of wildfire mitigation.
The purpose of the portal is twofold. First to consolidate wildfire technology ideas from across the Agency and share those with the appropriate agencies, organizations, etc. responsible for wildfire management. Second to facilitate the coordination within NASA and other government agencies to develop an interagency wildfire management concept of operations (ConOps).
